What I make…
I get so much enjoyment from bringing ideas to life; from designing through to creating a high quality finished product that I’m proud of. I make the products you see below, but I’m always open to new ideas and helping create memorable gifts for others
- Chopping boards – end-grain, edge-grain, inlay, basic designs through to high-end custom designs
- Customised home décor – timber arm rests for sofas, signage, small furniture items
- Mini, portable picnic tables
- Beer tap handles and bar décor
- Wooden 3D terrain maps – Australian and overseas
- Lake depth charts – Australian and overseas
- Star charts – table tops, wall art
- and much, much more…
Let’s see what’s available
About me
My name is Matt and I’m a dad, pilot and woodworker in my spare time. I started woodworking as a hobby back in 2018 and have spent years developing a range of skills and techniques to create high quality products.
The first thing I made was a checked end-grain chopping board with a custom burnt in engraving as a gift for a friend’s wedding. Whenever I visit, I see it proudly displayed in their kitchen and it brings me so much joy. I made it because it’s a functional/thoughtful gift but seeing it never used shows me how much they cherish it.
This has encouraged me to take on many more projects for the people I love and in turn, build a collection of tools to make my life easier and continue improving the quality of each item. A quick stint in a professional woodworking furniture workshop during COVID also helped expand my knowledge and capabilities.
I am now at the level of skill where I can confidently produce products that I can sell and let’s be honest, ultimately feed my addiction to buying tools to go in my garage.
I focus on quality over quantity because I want to be proud of every item I create.
If you have an idea (or even a hint of one) that you want to make a reality, get in touch with me.
